Itxaropena Association is a non-profit organization established in 1980 by a group of parents that wanted that their small children, who suffered serious sight difficulties, did not have toattend to specific ONCE schools in Madrid, Alicante or Valencia , trying to avoid the uprootedness that this meant (they were seen by their parents twice a year.
Aims of the Assiociation:
Promote the integration at family, social, school and work level of people with severe visual impairment, caring for families with visual disability members or individuals affected.
Mission
To offer and manage the necessary services and activities, in order to fulfill the aims of the association, helping its members to be integrated in all spheres of life.
Vision:
To be the benchmark in Alava, so that all the people with visual impairment from 33% onwards, can satisfy their assistance needs in order to improve both their lives and their social integration.
