The Leber Optic Nerve Atrophy Association (ASANOL),is a non-profit organization that was set up on October 2, 2010, with the aim of becoming a point of reference for professionals, affected people and their families.   Objectives:   The original basic aims of this association are:

• SPREAD through this method all updated information that may be interesting or may reach affected families.
• RESEARCH: To promote research in order to achieve professional involvement of those medical areas linked to neuro-ophthalmological pathologies.
• INFORMATION: The association will guide people who are interested in this disease and in the activities it carries out , in order to make this association a keystone to all people affected by Leber Optic Nerve Atrophy, and the union and effort reach results for the benefit of all.
